Let The Wedding Bell Ring

Monday, January 26th, 2009

When you’re getting married, on that special day, you want everything to go perfect. If you’re lucky and blessed enough to have your wedding in a church, you want the wedding bell to ring and let everyone know that someone is getting married. The sound of the bells is a beautiful sound heard by everyone. On my special day I wanted them to ring forever in celebration of my marriage. It’s the sound of a glorious day and a sound of people that are in love and being joined by marriage. Some couples pass out mini bells to all their guests as they enter the church, so that after you have been pronounced man and wife and you take that walk down the aisle and out to your limo, they ring the little bells instead of throwing rice or flower petals. A lot of couples have turned to the ringing of the little bells, as acknowledgement of your beautiful union.

There are different types of bells that you can get for your wedding reception. There are also some cool looking wedding bell favors for your big day. Your guests will love to get favors like these. There are all styles you can choose from. There are even bells that you can use as place card holders at your guests reception tables. Or just little bell souvenirs of your beautiful ceremony and reception. You can also get them to match the theme of your reception. I particularly like the bell that depicts a storybook ceremony. I think they are so delicate looking.

A bell has such a beautiful sound and it gives a sense of peace that goes through you. Doesn’t it just make you feel good when you hear a nice and peaceful sound like that? I love the sound, it makes me stop and think and reflect back to the day that I got married and the wedding bell rang for us. It reflects the love of two people coming together as one and pledging their love to each other and to show everyone that they want to spend the rest of there lives together.

So the next time that you’re walking around the park or out and about doing your everyday business and running errands and you hear the faint sound of wedding bells ringing in the air, stop and take in the moment. This is a great symbol of love and of two people coming together to spend the rest of there lives together as husband and wife. What a romantic sound to ring in the air.

We live in a middle sized town and I hear them every once in awhile. In this day and time, to hear the sounds of a wedding bell is a joyous occasion, made to two people in love that want to spend the rest of their lives together. It’s nice to take in the beautiful sounds of something so sacred as a man and woman joining hands in holy matrimony. Marriage is a beautiful thing and should be celebrated while surrounded by the people you love.

This is the year for change. Today you have the option to plan any type of wedding and reception you desire. From seasonal themes to a traditional ceremony and reception, the choice is all yours. Pick out your dress, get things together and celebrate your union in style. It’s your special day and everything should be just as you’ve always dreamed it should be. It’s your time to walk down the aisle with the one you love and let the wedding bell ring for you.

The Candle Wedding Favors Were Beautiful

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009

I took the easy way out and hired a wedding planner for our ceremony and reception, and I’m glad I did. Not only did she have excellent ideas, but she did a great job with the planning. I don’t know if I could have handle all of this on my own. There was a lot more to preparing for this, than I could ever have imagined. She helped me with colors and fabric for my wedding party, the flower arrangements and so much more. She really had some fabulous suggestions, from decorations to the wedding favors.

I took care of all the invitations, because I wanted to handle that personally. But she had just about everything else under control. All I had to do was pick and choose colors, flower arrangement, and what theme I wanted for my ceremony and reception. I told her I just wanted a traditional wedding with all the trimmings, so we started picking out the accessories I would need. I found the most adorable flower girl basket, and ring pillow that I wanted, and some really beautiful hair accessories I wanted my bridesmaids to wear. We went through so many ideas and they were all so fantastic, I almost wish I could have chose them all. I knew that I wanted to go with a ceramic favor of some sort for my guests, but I still wasn’t sure which one. They were all so lovely and I was having a hard time deciding, so I figured I’d make that my last selection. So we moved on to other things.

My fiance and I must have tried 50 cake samples before we finally agreed on the one we wanted for our reception. It was a beautiful yellow cake with white frosting and red roses all around.  For a cake topper I chose a heart with doves in front of it.  It was really lovely. We had crystal champagne flutes and wine glasses on all the tables, and adorable little place card holders for all the guests that were placed on the table according to my seating arrangement. When it came to the centerpieces, the wedding planner had the most exquisite ideas. I decided on the bouquets of carnations and roses arranged in a gorgeous ceramic bowl. They were so beautiful and they really added to the rest of the table settings.

Now I needed to decide on which of the wedding favors I wanted to have for my friends and family. We were getting down to the wire and I still hadn’t made my decision. There were just so many choices, it wasn’t easy. I wanted to have the best for my guests, I just couldn’t decide which one that was.  Finally, I had to choose, so I picked the candle wedding favors.  For one thing, they are absolutely elegant looking, and for another it’s something they can actually get some use out of. Everyone loves candles, right?

Well, everything was spectacular and the wedding ceremony was everything I had hoped it would be. As we were leaving, everyone threw rose petals at our feet and they released a couple of doves as we exited the church and continued on to our limo. It was truly a magnificent ceremony.

The reception went very well too. Everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding cake and there was the traditional toast to the bride and groom by the best man.  Everything was just as it should be, and after all that time, trying to pick wedding favors, turns out I made the right choice.  Everyone loved their ceramic wedding favors.
