We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. Our three tiered wedding cake sat on a unique little sled designed cake stand and had a topper that was a porcelain snowflake to complete our winter wedding cake. Our cake serving set was also a winter themed accessory I found while shopping online. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. It was an exact match for the sign-in book and pen set I had bought.
The handles on the toasting flute matched the sign in book and cake serving set we had, all with winter designs. The coloring scheme was cool blue and white with a few small snowflakes to match everything else on our table. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. We got a ring boy tee shirt and a stainless steel yo-yo for our ring bearer, and he thought that was really neat. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I think everyone was really happy with the thank you favors they received and I think they all had a great time at the reception.
The array of wedding materials I found on the net made our ceremony and reception a dream come true,for both of us. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. I found supplies for both the wedding and the honeymoon online. Like the bride and groom hats and tee shirts and the cute little door hanger pillow that says do not disturb. The decorative little pillow really came in handy.

Monday, November 30th, 2009Online shopping for our reception accessories, flower baskets, and ring bearer pillows was my mom’s idea. I just placed my order and they delivered them, and it sure was better than running from store to store. I found everything from invitations to wedding favors, and some items at wholesale prices. There was also quite a few other items that I was able to get at a discount. I found a lot of my accessories for my bridesmaids, flower girl at a great price and there were unique ring bearer pillow wedding ideas to work with too. I was amazed at all the different styles of wedding ring pillows.
They had a fantastic selection of centerpieces and champagne flutes for the bride and groom and guests. Along with the glassware I added beautiful candles to make each table setting as elegant as possible. As wedding favors I chose crystal paperweights for all of our guests. They were almost to lovely to put into their favors boxes, but the packaging only added to the tables elegant appearance. Out of everything I bought, I loved my cake topper the most. I think I liked the topper better than I did the cake itself. The butterfly with the beautiful satin bow really made an exquisite wedding cake topper.
Everyone seemed impressed with the décor and their wedding favors. Some of the guests came up and thanked me for their gifts and told me how beautiful they were. But, there’s more to this place than just a ring bearer pillow and cake toppers. Ijust found out that this is where my sister got everything she needed for my wedding shower. It was all courtesy of mom’s suggestion.
My sister is going to have a baby in a few months and I’m throwing her a baby shower, guess where I’m getting all of my shower supplies? I’m pretty sure on the items I’ve checked out so far, and plan to order them some time next week. By that time I’ll know if she is having a boy or a girl. Even though there are a lot of neutral colors I could use, I’d rather try to have the décor and supplies in a boy or girl theme.
I want to thank my mom for pointing me towards this easy way to shop, it saved me a lot of time and money. Filling out our thank you cards and working out all the reception arrangements was another thing I’m grateful for my mom doing for me. I couldn’t have done it without you, mom. This is one way of shopping that will come in handy for our anniversary someday. I saw some pretty nice ideas for anniversary parties, from decorations to anniversary party favors. I saw a lot of lovely ideas for my mom and dad’s 30th wedding anniversary. Me and my sister should look at the possibilities together. No use waiting until the last minute, it’s not that much longer before they reach their 30th year as man and wife.

Monday, November 30th, 2009Once we decided on a beach wedding, I started looking for all my accessories and supplies they had in a beach motif. The first thing to get was the invitations for our beach themed wedding. Since I had a couple of invitations I had to do over again, I was really glad I bought extra. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. There were so many options for beach wedding dresses and gowns, that it was a tough decision to make. I was unsure about the two full length wedding gowns I found, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable at my beach wedding. I found a beautiful beaded knee length dress made of light weight materials of satin and lace, with spaghetti straps for my wedding.
My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. My fiance’s wedding attire consisted of a blue shirt and white pants made of linen, and his groomsmen were also dressed in linen, with white shirts and sandy colored pants. The little ring boy wore a white cotton shirt and khaki shorts, and our flower girl was so cute in a light fabric sundress. Everyone in the wedding party looked fantastic and the bouquets were absolutely the most beautiful arrangements I could have found.
I kept thinking how I should have bought two albums for wedding, because I wanted lots of pictures of our wonderful beach wedding and reception. I expect photos of every person here and everything at our wedding including our reception and the beautiful beach décor. Pictures of our satin canopy and flowered arch where we stood to take our vows was a definite must. After we were pronounced husband and wife, we left for the hotel to change from our wedding attire to our beach attire. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.

A lot of our friends and family made comments about out lovely reception décor. I added some tiki torches everywhere and put gel candles on all of our guests wedding reception tables to help add a touch of atmosphere to everything. Planning this beach wedding and reception was a lot easier than I thought it would be, with all the accessories and supplies they had. It couldn’t have been a more perfect dream wedding and reception, with the gorgeous ocean as our background and the warm sand under our feet.

One thing I discovered was to be sure you always buy extra invitations, just in case you make a mistake and have yourself a do over, like I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. I was unsure about the two full length wedding gowns I found, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable at my beach wedding. Linen beach dresses with a crocheted halter covering was what I chose for my bridesmaids. My fiance’s wedding attire consisted of a blue shirt and white pants made of linen, and his groomsmen were also dressed in linen, with white shirts and sandy colored pants. The little sundress our flower girl wore looked so adorable on her and our ring boy looked so cute in his little khaki shorts and white shirt. I found the most lovely flower bouquets for the bridesmaids and myself, and the entire wedding party looked absolutely perfect.
I wish now,with all the photos of our wedding being taken, that I would have bought two wedding albums, instead of only one. I expect photos of every person here and everything at our wedding including our reception and the beautiful beach décor. I especially wanted photos of us taking our vows under the beautiful flowered arch and satin canopy we had put up. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. Although a few of our wedding party went home to change into their beach clothes, there were some that decided to just wear their swimsuits under their wedding clothes. I wrote on all the invitations to dress in casual clothing for this wedding.
Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. Monday, November 30th, 2009My mom suggested I shop online for my wedding accessories, like flower girl baskets, ring bearer pillows and reception supplies. I really enjoyed the convenience of shopping online and having all my supplies delivered to my door, saved me the trouble of running all over town. They even had the type of invitations I was looking for, and a lot of discounted items to choose from too. Besides the invitations, I got a lot of accessories for the ceremony, at a much lower cost than I expected. I saved money on all the tiaras I needed for myself, bridesmaids and my flower girl, plus a lot of other accessories, like flower girl basket, rose petals and I also found terrific ring bearer pillow wedding suggestions. I couldn’t believe all the adorable ideas for satin ring pillows.
They had all the reception supplies I could hope for. So many choices of glassware and candles to add to the elegance of each table. There was such an assortment of themed wedding and destination wedding ideas, and a great selection of wedding favors too. Some for a beach wedding, winter wedding, garden wedding and more, with beautiful and decorative favor boxes to choose from too. There were great little novelty favors too, like Vegas wedding gifts for friends and family, keychains, photo frames and more with a Las Vegas theme to them.
I chose the gorgeous crystal paperweights as the thank you gifts for our friends and families. Athough the favors were an added touch of elegance all on their own, I packaged them in exquisite little favor boxes. I found the perfect cake topper. I think I liked the topper better than I did the cake itself. It really was an especially beautiful cake topper with a lovely butterfly and a satin bow.
Our wedding décor and wedding favors seemed to make quite an impression. Some of the guests came up and thanked me for their gifts and told me how beautiful they were. But you know what else was so great about this place, they have a lot more than cake toppers and a ring bearer pillow. I didn’t know it at the time, but I found out that’s where my sister got all of her party supplies and party favors for my bridal shower she threw for me. She said mom had told her about it too.

I already know what supplies and favors I want to order, but I have to do that until some time next week. That’s when she finds out if she is having a girl or boy. I could go ahead and order everything in a non-gender color, but I’d really prefer to have a pink décor or a blue décor, with maybe an it’s a girl or it’s a boy banner.
My mother’s suggestion on shopping by computer really helped out a lot in terms of time and money. I also want to thank her for helping with the reception arrangements and filling out all those thank you cards. I couldn’t have done it without you, mom. Maybe I can use this online shopping thing for our future anniversary parties. There are great little suggestions for anniversaries, even decorations, cake toppers and little thank you gifts. I found suggestions that would be perfect for our mom and dayd’s 30th wedding anniversary party. I think I’ll get a hold of my sister so we can check out the possibilities together. Their 30th isn’t that far away, no use waiting until the last minute.

The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. I got my maid of honor a bracelet made of crystal, and all of my bridesmaids received tank tops with their names written on them in small crystals. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. The guys that stood up in our wedding all got digital clocks, with the best man got his own mug and pen set. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
