My fiance and I set the date for our wedding in January, because I had my heart set on a winter wonderland ceremony and reception. The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. The people who attended our reception liked the presents and place card holders they brought home with them, and the banquet hall looked just gorgeous. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. It was pretty obvious by the way everyone was laughing and dancing that they were really enjoying themselves at our wedding reception, a quite a few of them thanked us for the lovely gifts we had bought for them as wedding favors.

We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif.
