Online shopping for our reception accessories, flower baskets, and ring bearer pillows was my mom’s idea. I really enjoyed the convenience of shopping online and having all my supplies delivered to my door, saved me the trouble of running all over town. She was right, I even found the perfect wedding invitations to send out, and some other accessories, all at reasonable prices. Our invitations weren’t the only thing I saved money on, I also saved on other accessories too. I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. We figured it would make more sense to let our guests have them as souveniers then to try to find a place to put 200 champagne flutes. Besides, we were stocked with keepsakes from our wedding and reception, with our wedding guestbook, album, cake topper and more. Our wedding guestbook was in the five piece set we bought and it was a gorgeous claret color, with a place for signatures, gift list and certain keepsakes. The guest book comes in handy for making out your thank you cards, and it’s nice to have a record of everyone that shared that day with you. You want to be able to mention the gift they gave you when writing out your thank you cards, it’s much more personal that way.
Some of our friends and family complimented me on my choice of unique candle wedding favors as their thank you gifts, and told me how much they liked them.
