Saturday, February 6th, 2010

My husband and i only just recently visited one of the lovely wedding events we have ever been to. A colleague of ours had a beautiful western themed wedding event at his parents house. The happy couple got married in a lovely little church near to where his parents lived. The event was beautiful along with the bride. The couple had all the attendees driven to the reception by horse and carriage. The reception was adorned during a country western fashion. Little white and red check tablecloths were organized on every table with gorgeous very little centerpieces. They used metal watering pales and added wildflowers and then put very little cowboy hats out on the tables for place card holders. They extremely over board on the decorations. There were bales of hay stacked all over and lights dangling around all the tables. They mounted up a bandstand and a huge wooden floor for partying. The happy couple had a great band that was ready to play just about any kind of music you wished to hear. Everything was served buffet style simply like a huge family meal. The bbq’s were crammed with ribs, chicken and steak. There were a few bbq grills crammed with hot dogs and hamburgers for the youngsters. They did not pass up anything for the friends at this celebration.
All the party goers were happy with the selection of Party Favor they received. The seatings were stuffed with many totally different decorated shot glass tokens of appreciation. There were various very lovely shot glasses that were coloured and then some that were see-through. A couple of the women received terribly distinctive unique shot glass that could also be used as tealight holders with very little tea light candles added in. A heap of the fellows got a double shot glasses for his or her thank you tokens of appreciation. My husband’s was a very extraordinary wedding glass that had the words best man emblazened. My husband was very happy along with his wedding favor souvenir. All the blokes in the wedding party received astounding customized wedding shot glasses as well. There were especially lovely stamped ones for the groomsmen and ushers. There were really some distinctive glasses handed out for little gifts. My shot glass wedding favors had beautiful ribbons engraved on the glass. It worked as a tiny candle holder in addition and was so unique with it’s flair top. I was terribly stunned in the slightest degree the various designs there have been for these glasses. I perpetually thought an attempt glass was just an attempt glass, however I guess I was wrong. I never realized they’d such magnificent little presents as these.

The marriage and gala were each really distinctive. I was extremely awed with the method they layed out this day out. This was a day we wouldn’t soon forget. There were additionally events for the children similarly as the parents. Party games that would be good for barbecues and picnics. The guys got into a couple horseshoe games and the youngsters and a number of the women were playing ping pong and volley ball. The whole thing from the smorgasbord table to the games and music was completely right. The youngsters extremely appreciated the hayrides. A large amount of them had never been on a hayride before and they really enjoyed it. I had a fun time on the hayrides with the kids also. After the new couple had their first dance of the night, we all joined in. I haven’t danced that much in quite an extended time. They played everything from rock and roll to a country hoedown. The happy couple seemed to have quite alot fun that they didn’t wish to depart the gala. But it began obtaining in the wee small hours and they at last decided to leave the rest of the partying to the guests. They really did a fantastic job in designing this wedding reception and we are quite glad that we were ready to share the event with them. {I have faith they’ll be exceptionally content together.|My husband and I want them several years of the best.|We wish them a long and affectionate existence as one

I recently went to a marriage and reception for one of the girls I work with. The wedding was beyond belief and the bride couldn’t have looked more exquisite. This was the foremost unforgettable bridal ceremony I’ve ever been to. Their marriage ceremony was right out of a storybook of Cinderella and Prince Charming. Excluding the nefarious stepmother and repulsive stepsisters of course. The brides glass slippers finished the fairytale wedding ensemble. They did a great job decorating the cathedral for the ceremony. There have been candles and red and white roses everywhere. There was a deep red aisle runner and white tulle which they had draped from row to row in the pews. The ceremony had the whole lot a princess may wish to create her wedding day further special. We were each given little baskets of pink and white rose petals to toss at the bride and groom as they walked down the aisle. Outside was a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to move them to the reception. I felt like I was truly in a bona fide live fairy tale. They conjointly did an incredible job on decorating the reception hall. They had gorgeous decorations with lots of flowers and tables crammed with sparkling crystal.

There were very little fairy-tale carriages that worked as place card holders and picture frames placed at every setting. Lined down the long tables were lovely little candle holders with castles on the front. They also had outstanding centerpieces. They were bowls created of glass with 3 floating candles and had flowers adjacent it. Everything there was outstanding. Their selection of thank you gifts were prettily designed Wine Bottle Favors. Most of the a measure of appreciation were Wedding Favors Wine Bottles and others Wine Stopper Favors. As a thank you gift I was given a wine stopper wedding favor. Some of the attendees were given calla lily wedding wine stopper favors and I had one in the form of a heart. I never thought of wine party favor gifts before. Everyone appeared very happy with their wedding favors. I was surprised that there were therefore several unique concepts for bottle stopper designs. One of my close friends received a beautiful wine bottle wedding favor with an enticing red wine label on the front. One more guest showed us her wedding favor wine glasses that she was given as a thank you gift. This wedding reception was actually tactically out. You might tell they put a heap of effort in coming up with this wedding and reception.

I’m coming up with my own wedding right now. I hope I can do half as sensible a job at coming up with this event as she did.

I had to seek out out where she got all of her nice decorating concepts for her storybook wedding. She gave me a link to an on-line wedding supply store that she said is one in every of the best. So the primary thing I did once I got home was to look it up on my computer. I could not believe I’d never heard of this place before. I was stunned at the various accessories they have available. They even have wholesale and discount costs on several of the items. There were ideas and accessories for each theme imaginable. Although I believed their fairytale wedding was fabulous, we tend to were thinking more along the lines of a beach wedding. I have found lots of choices for wedding décor and thank you gifts for a beach themed reception and wedding. We already have our invites out and reserved the beach area. We just required to get the accessories and beach themed decorations for the reception. I ordered what we needed for the reception and currently have the whole thing I may probably want for a beautiful wedding and reception by the water. This is going to be one super wonderful beach party reception.

I found some great deals on new party favors!

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

I look back at my wedding day and see the difference in how things have changed in decorations and how great they look. When I started browsing the internet I found so many beautiful wedding and reception accessories for almost any type of wedding you could imagine. If you want a beach party wedding you can find beach party accessories like beautiful little seashells and starfish, just to name a couple. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. I found very exceptional new wedding selections for seasonal ceremonies. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. If I were planning a wedding it would have to be indoors and not outside in the cold. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.

There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Now there are so many different types of weddings you can really have your ceremony exactly the way you want to. There are even long distance weddings, where everybody takes a trip to where the wedding will take place. Everybody probably feels like they’re eploping too. There are also a great new wedding favor selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.

My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. At first I thought that idea was just a little out there, but the more we got into the actual planning, the more I liked it. She ordered all the decorations in a western style decor. They’re really quite unique looking. She’s set up a country band, barbecue grills and hay bales that will be part of the party decor. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. Also she purchased centerpieces and name card holders that are western style. It amazed me when I found out that they were having the wedding at a ranch because I never heard of renting one for a special occasion before. Many of the wedding decorations that she ordered online are a great match for her country western wedding. She ordered delightful new weddings for all their friends and family and cowboy hats for the bride and groom.

It’s looks like when this is finished being planned, that it will be a big family barbecue with dear friends. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. Would you believe there’s even going to be an old fashioned barn dance too? Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. Everybody will always remember this wedding. Thanks to my daughters great country themed wedding, she’s given me a great idea for our anniversary.

I’m in love with these new favors!

Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. You could get beautiful new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? To me having a wedding in the winter outside would be a beautiful site to see and yet a little way out of the norm. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. The best place for a winter wedding would be in a setting with a warm cozy fire and warm atmosphere.

There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. With all the gorgeous colors and the pumpkins, gourds and just the fresh clean smell in the air, the fall season seems to me to be the best season for a wedding. When I got married, a long, long time ago, about the only options we had, was the traditional wedding, a justice of the peace or elopement. Today there are so many various weddings you can plan, that you can have the wedding you always wanted. There are even long distance weddings, where everybody takes a trip to where the wedding will take place. It’s like having a family elopement. You can choose from a terrific new wedding selection – they have everything from old style weddings to long distance weddings.

My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. At first I thought that idea was just a little out there, but the more we got into the actual planning, the more I liked it. My daughter found all the western accessories to plan her wedding and make it a success. They had a style of there own. She hired a country band and placed grills and hay around for the party setting. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. She order western place card holders and watercans for the centerpieces and put flowers in them. To my surprise they planned to rent a western ranch for the wedding. She purchased many wedding and reception embellishments on the internet and they went with the country western style. She ordered delightful new favors for all their friends and family and cowboy hats for the bride and groom.

Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. Would you believe there’s even going to be an old fashioned barn dance too? After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. Thanks to my daughters great country themed wedding, she’s given me a great idea for our anniversary.

The Search For Summer Wedding Themes!

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

I didn’t have as many problems planning an outside wedding as I thought I would. In fact, it didn’t cost as much as an indoor wedding would have cost us. Having the natural beauty of the outdoors saved us a lot of money on decorations. I checked out a lot of places to have our summer wedding and reception. I could have had our wedding ceremony on the beach, with a fun filled beach party reception, or an elegant garden party, but I chose a ceremony and reception in the park. I found several perfect parks that would work fine for our wedding day.

I decided to go online and get some expert advice on how to plan the perfect outdoor wedding. If you’re going to have your ceremony outside, it’s a good idea to have an alternative plan just in case the weather turns on you. So we arranged to have a tent set up to move the ceremony into if necessary, just as a precaution.

Plan “A” was setting up a gorgeous trellis for our ceremony to be performed under and canopies for the reception. I mainly concentrated on the decorations for our wedding table and the reception tables. With the beautiful background of the park as our main décor, all I really needed besides table settings were a few extra flowers here and there. I decided to go with artificial flowers because I didn’t want to have our wedding to be the target of a bee swarm. The only way you could tell that the flowers were artificial, was by touch, they were beautiful. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. Like, making sure there were citronella candles all around, rest rooms close by and making sure our cake was kept cool until ready to be cut.

I found quite a few terrific accessories that I could use for the reception. As centerpieces for our reception tables I used citronella votive candles and place them in glass globes with flowers around them, and used park bench place card holders for each guest. For each of our guests there were beautiful chrome bottle openers in lovely designed favor boxes, as a summer wedding favor. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.

I saw this cake topper when I was checking out all the wedding accessories they had to offer, and I knew this was the topper I wanted. They were especially customized for the bride and groom. They put our faces on our cake topper, and all I had to do was send them a photo of me and my fiance. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. Everyone at the reception had something to say about how unique it was. All the wonderful accessories I ordered for our reception and wedding ceremony came from the same place, including our champagne flutes and silver cake set. You wouldn’t believe all the nice accessories you can buy online.

Everything at the wedding and reception were fantastic. The weather cooperated and we never had to go to plan “B” with the tents. The DJ we hired was really exceptional and I’m sure that the music played on long after my new husband and I left for our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

When you’re looking for a wedding favor…

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I checked on three different themes, beach, garden and country western. But I also considered having a traditional wedding. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. A destination wedding in Vegas or maybe the gorgeous oceanside in Hawaii sounded awesome. I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But I had to give that plan up, too many people wouldn’t be able to travel that far.
There were other ideas too, like a gorgeous winter theme ceremony. But a wedding in July just didn’t seem like the right time to do a winter theme. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were plenty of fairy tale accessories and ideas to work with for the perfect story book wedding. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So this was final. We can declare a royal wedding.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. There were also plenty of accessories and supplies to pick out for my storybook wedding. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. As I made my way down the aisle to my handsome prince Charming I felt like I was living a dream. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding favor. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I decided on little coaches for place card holders and the gorgeous place card holders that looked just like Cinderella coach. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Our guests all had a wonderful time and were very impressed with all the lovely storybook décor. One of my guests said it was the most beautiful ceremony she’d ever been too. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the favors for wedding for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.

Do your research before choosing favors for wedding!

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. But on the other hand there is a lot to be said for tradition. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. I would love a tropical island wedding. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
Then I thought about a winter themed wedding. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. So I decided to go with every young girls dream of marrying a prince, and chose to have a storybook wedding, just like in the fairy tales I read as a child. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So my decision was made. I wanted a fairy tale wedding and reception.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. There were also plenty of accessories and supplies to pick out for my storybook wedding. My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous and the bridesmaids and flower girl had beautiful dresses that were floor length. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. As I made my way down the aisle to my handsome prince Charming I felt like I was living a dream. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I was able to find all the accessories I needed for this special themed wedding and some very lovely wedding favors for our friends and family. I had every wedding party favor done up in storybook themed favor boxes. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. They had everything imaginable for a storybook wedding and reception.
Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. One of my guests said it was the most beautiful ceremony she’d ever been too. I have to admit, it was quite special. I’m so glad that I chose this theme and found so many accessories to help me make it happen. Since this was a special day in my life, I wanted everything to be special. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the wedding gifts for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I wanted our guests to leave with something that would remind them of this special day. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon, I got started on all the thank you notes I needed to mail out. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. I wouldn’t mind having a fairytale anniversary renewal ceremony.

When you’re looking for a wedding favor…

I put a lot of thought about the theme for our wedding ceremony and reception. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.

Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. I picked out floor length dresses for the girls in my wedding party, and found an exquisite gown for myself. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.

When you’re looking for a wedding reception favor…

It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I liked the idea of a beach wedding, but a garden wedding or country western theme sounded pretty great too. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Then I found out about destination weddings and that one got me thinking. A destination wedding in Vegas or maybe the gorgeous oceanside in Hawaii sounded awesome. The islands of Hawaii would definitely be my first choice. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were plenty of fairy tale accessories and ideas to work with for the perfect story book wedding. I also found a place to get the perfect fairy tale wedding cake for a gorgeous royal wedding. So my decision was made. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. All of the groomsmen and the ring boy looked so handsome in their tuxes, but the best looking one of all, was my regal prince. As I made my way down the aisle to my handsome prince Charming I felt like I was living a dream. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. All of the gorgeous décor only added to the beauty of our ceremony. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
There were accessories that helped me to make our reception appear as elegant as a king’s castle. I found everything to fit the ocassion from decorations to wedding favors. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. They had everything imaginable for a storybook wedding and reception.
Some of our guests commented on the themed décor and told us what a great time they were having. A friend of ours told us it was the most fantastic dream wedding she’s ever seen. If I do say so myself, it was quite spectacular. I’m so glad that I chose this theme and found so many accessories to help me make it happen. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the favors for wedding for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. I wonder if we could do this again for our anniversary?
